It’s been an amazing two plus years of my photography business and client work. From starting in lifestyle to niching to motherhood and birth, now offering travel for my family clients- businesses and visions evolve. And my editing is no exception.
One thing that I have invested in for this year are mentorships and education. Learning more about the power of my editing programs, how to push my camera and lenses to achieve the look I want has made a huge difference. My clients should feel confident hanging the very best images in their home and that comes with an expert understanding of natural, ambient light and editing.
I wanted to show a side by side of the differences. I’m still moody. I’m still capturing connection- but I’m a little more polished. The highlights are a lifted, the tones truer to life (some clients and friends call it cinematic) and for the most part, you want images that aren’t going to stick with the fad of desaturated colors and shadows. The colors are bolder- the emotions are as well. It’s who I am as an artist and a mother after years of practice and mothering. I’ve found myself here, in a sea of drama, love, beauty and affection. It continues to blow my mind that my clients trust me with their likeness, knowing I’m after catching those loving, vulnerable moments of motherhood.
I hope that this means you’ll consider me as your motherhood and/or birth photographer and that if you’ve been with me from the start, you will stay. I’m so proud of each of my galleries and so thankful for all my clients.
